First introduced 25 years ago, Ganondorf has undergone several design changes, but the Wind Waker iteration has always been one of my favorites, so I felt compelled to take it to the paper.
A few notes for building: When working on the head, I recommend starting with the eyes, then the nose and continue to build outwards. When you get to the hands and feet, you'll notice that they have pegs on the ends of them. These are, simply, to help align the parts when attaching them to the body. You might have to cut the openings on the body a little bigger depending on your paper weight ( I used 65 lbs. card stock and it was a tight fit). They pegs aren't integral to the structural soundness of the model, so feel free to ignore those parts when building. When you get to the body, it's easiest to build the shirt and then work your way out and downward.
The download includes lined and unlined PDO files,. Standing at 55cm (21.7"), this papercraft is pretty tough, but I hope you enjoy it. Good luck!

I now have lined and unlined PDFs of this papercraft. Unfortunately, I don't have any building instructions for it, but I've added edge ID numbers to help make it a littler easier. Also, because of this, the layout is slightly different from the PDO to prevent the numbers from overlapping the pieces.

Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteFinally the model I've been waiting for though it looks like the head is a nightmare to build!
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks great! Especially the head.
ReplyDeletea espectacular work
ReplyDeleteThey pegs are a tight fit.
ReplyDeleteFor your health!
Somebody should just make new technology for it.

Wow, this is an awesome papercraft!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently trying to build it, but I'm having a very hard time with the eyes since there are no visible lines on the black part around the eyes.
Would it be possible for you to make some sort of instruction for the eyes or head alone? I think that'd help a lot :)
Hi everyone, I want to build the Ganondorf papercraft for my room but 55cm is just too big. Did someone know if there is a way to make it shorter? The thing is that I’m afraid with building the head, everyone says that is very difficult and if I make it smaller it also gonna be harder. What should I do?
